Following the re-release of Hiroshi Yoshimura's classic album Surround in 2024, Temporal Drift proudly presents the first ever re-release of Flora, Yoshimura's underrated ambient classic.

Flora was originally recorded and completed in 1987 and remained unreleased until 2006, almost three years after Yoshimura's death in 2003. The album is chronologically and stylistically a continuation of his acclaimed works and "Surround" from 1986, in which Yoshimura continues to play with the atmosphere of sound and the sound of atmosphere, emphasizing his mastery in the field of environmental music. Yoshimura's other recorded works include "Music For Nine Post Cards" (1982), which was originally produced for performance in a museum space, and "Pier & Loft" (1983), which was commissioned to accompany a contemporary fashion show.
