The remastered album comes in a variety of formats. The most comprehensive of these is the Deluxe Anniversary Edition, for which the entire album (and bonus track "Photograph" featuring Natalie Merchant) has been mixed in Dolby Atmos by its original producer Scott Litt and engineer Clif Norrell. This technology is a huge step up from the familiar surround sound: with its wide and flowing sound, the listener is immersed much deeper than would be possible with stereo. The multi-dimensional sound takes the listener into the recording studio and harks back to a time when listening to music was an active and powerful experience that could potentially change you.
