There have been rumors for a long time, but now The Strokes are finally presenting their new album "Reality Awaits" to the whole world.

"The New Abnormal", the New York band's last album, was released after a seven-year break and was celebrated by fans and critics alike as a perfect comeback. Julian Casablancas and his bandmates also received the Grammy for Best Rock Album for this work.

Six years later, The Strokes are now seamlessly building on this success with "Reality Awaits". The seventh album was once again produced by the legendary Rick Rubin, who lends the new songs a clear, captivating sound.

The snappy, summery first single "Going Shopping" immediately puts you in a good mood. With plenty of twang in the guitars and a pinch of autotune on Casablancas' voice, it brings a fresh note to the typical The Strokes sound.
